The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Pick up your shoebox in church (available beginning October 26), pack it for a child, and bring it back on November 16. For more info, visit samaritanspurse.org/occ.
If you’re new to our church and interested in learning more about New Hope, we’d love to have you join us for this class during the 10:45 AM service. Refreshments and childcare will be provided.
We’ll have a weekend dedicated to pursuing emotional and spiritual maturity in Christ. Through biblical and clinically informed teaching, we’ll explore how the gospel shapes our inner life and helps us walk faithfully with God and others.
We’ll have a continental breakfast, two sessions, and a Q&A on Saturday morning (from 8:45 AM–11:30 AM) with Pastor Harley Snode, pastor of North Life Baptist Church and founder of Inspire Counseling Ministries, as well as hear a biblical message from him during our Sunday morning services.
Investing in your emotional and spiritual health is important. You don’t want to miss this weekend!
Sunday morning in each service, we’ll gather together for Communion. Join us for a service reflecting on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. We’ll worship our Savior through music, a Bible message and by partaking in the Lord’s Table.
On this Sunday, we’ll celebrate with those who have accepted Christ as Saviour and are identifying with Him through baptism. Sign up below if you are interested in being baptized.
The top chili chefs in northwest Connecticut will compete ladle to ladle to claim the coveted title of Chili Champion (as given by the esteemed chili judges of the New Hope Baptist Church)!

On this day, we thank those who sacrifice daily to serve and protect our community. We’ll also have touch a truck for the kids at 10:30 AM as many of our first responders will be bringing their vehicles.

Join the ladies of New Hope on Friday, September 26 at 6 PM for a casual, fun game night together! This event is geared toward all ladies, older teens and up. Feel free to bring along a snack or finger food to share (optional).
